CEO/Founder – Michael Lombardi
Michael R. Lombardi is the Founder and serves as the CEO of HydroFlux Technology. Mr. Lombardi was previously Managing General Partner of Newport Lido Medical Center, Managing Member of Westside Medical Park LLC as well as the Chairman at Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital. Additionally, Mr. Lombardi was the Chairman of the board of councilors of the University of Southern California (USC) School of Gerontology. Mr. Lombardi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Chief Strategy Officer/Vice President – Alex Liu MD/MPH
Dr. Alex Liu serves as the chief strategy officer of HydroFlux Technology after over a decade of running his own successful private practice. He was previously Medical Director at two AAAHC Ambulatory Surgery Centers as well and is an active AAAHC surveyor. Dr. Liu earned his Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health in Health Systems Management from Tulane University School of Medicine.
Chief Science Officer – Neil Morley, PHD
Dr. Morley is a professor of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Development at UCLA where he also earned his Master’s and PhD in Nuclear Engineering. He serves as our lead scientist in the research and development of HydroFlux Technology’s magnetic treatment system. He additionally serves as the Associate Director for the Center for Energy Science & Technology Advanced Research as well as having the role as Senior Research Scientist at UCLA Fusion Science and Technology Center. He is well traveled around the world as a leading expert in Fusion Engineering.
Senior Advisor – Gary Harbison
Gary Harbison received his BS in Mechnical Engineering from University of Missouri-Columbia. He continued in the industry as the Principal at HLG Engineering, helping to design many of today’s modern water cooling tower systems. Mr. Harbison is past president of the Golden Gate Chapter of American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), a world recognized society leading the way in water cooling tower technology. He is a current member of the ASHRAE Technical Committee focusing on Cooling Towers, Fluid Coolers, and Evaporative Condensers.
Senior Advisor – Robert Cunningham
Robert Cunningham earned his BS in Chemistry and his MBA from University of Pittsburgh. He is a NACE Certified Corrosion Specialist and certified by the USDA to develop, apply and oversee HACCP plans. He successfully founded and operated Chemisis, Inc., a regional water management firm specializing in refinery, steel making, food manufacturing, and HVAC systems. Mr. Cunningham is currently a Vice President and Consultant at Arthur Freedman Associates, Inc., where he consults internationally on problems associated with domestic and industrial water preparation plants and cooling water systems. He is amongst the luminaries of this industry and has held several key positions in ASHRAE, Cooling Technology Institute (CTI), and Association of Water Technologies (AWT).
Consultant – Bruce K. Schaefer
Bruce K. Schaefer has been involved in the cooling tower industry for almost 50 years. He has worked with some of the biggest leaders in the field such as Fluor Products, Ecodyne Cooling, and Marley/SPX Cooling Tower Technologies. His expansive experience in this field covers construction, product management, product improvement, sales management, and general management. Bruce particularly specializes in maintenance, upgrading, and retrofitting of evaporative cooling systems.
Research Team – Molecular GPS Technologies
Molecular GPS Technologies is a Los Angeles based Biotechnology business development group. For the HydroFlux Technology project, President and CEO, Gary Fujii, Ph.D. served as the Program Director and William Ernst (Ph.D.), and Sam On Ho (Ph.D.), served as the lead investigators. Corporate Secretary and COO, Richard Tamaki served as the project manager. Amongst the foremost leaders in the field of Biotechnology R&D, they have successfully helped companies implement new products into the marketplace. Molecular GPS conducted all the research published on behalf of HydroFlux Technology as an independent third party firm.
