# HydroFlux > HydroFlux is a patented, clamp-on magnetic treatment for fine iron oxide in industrial facility water systems. HydroFlux uses a Halbach-array magnetic field to promote iron aggregation. Existing bag, cartridge, or sand filtration can then capture more iron-rich material. The device requires no power, pipe cutting, or system shutdown. It adds no chemicals and works with the approved water treatment program. ## Primary sales path HydroFlux first evaluates facility water loops with a known iron problem and an existing filtration capture point. The main evidence page is [LAX Terminal 5](https://hydroflux.com/case-studies/lax-terminal-5). ## Documented evidence ### LAX Terminal 5 A 10-month field study used treated and comparison filtration legs. - The final report records sampled iron moving from 3.9 ppm to 2.0 ppm during the first phase. - Selected aggregated tests recorded 0.4379 grams per 1,000 gallons on the treated leg. - The comparison result was 0.4014 grams per 1,000 gallons. - The selected aggregated result equals 9.1 percent more captured mass. - The legs had unequal placement and flow conditions. - Results varied across tests.
